Wann sollte ich mich melden?

So früh wie möglich. Ich begleite keine zwei Geburten gleichzeitig, deshalb ist jeder Zeitraum nur einmal vergeben.

Cologne has many places to give birth: large perinatal centres such as the university hospital or Holweide, smaller hospitals and two birth centres in Nippes and Lindenthal.

At the same time, a lot is changing. No babies have been born at the Evangelisches Krankenhaus Kalk since August 2026. And midwives in Cologne are often booked up early in pregnancy.

Do you replace my midwife?

No. I am a doula, not a midwife. I take care of your wellbeing, the midwife takes care of the medical side. The two complement each other.

When should I get in touch?

As early as possible. I never accompany two births at the same time, so each time slot can only be booked once.
