For birth support I need one thing above all: to be with you in time. That is why I accompany births wherever I can get to within about 1.5 hours. For example:
Düsseldorf and all its districts
Cologne
Neuss and the Rhein-Kreis Neuss
Wuppertal and the Bergisches Land
Mettmann, Ratingen and the district of Mettmann
Gevelsberg and the Ennepe-Ruhr district
And everything in between, for example Krefeld, Duisburg, Essen, Solingen or Leverkusen.

How far is too far? That is also a question of how you feel. Some women are completely comfortable with an hour's drive, others want someone from the neighbourhood. Both are fine. If a colleague is closer to you and a better fit, I am happy to recommend her.

How on-call time works.
Around your due date I am on call for you. 14 or 20 days, depending on your package. Day and night.
My phone is always on. During this time I do not leave my radius and I never accompany a second birth at the same time. And when it starts, I set off to you. At home, at the birth centre or in hospital.

Not everything needs me in person. Hypnobirthing is also available online, wherever you live in NRW. 1:1 sessions and many meetings before the birth can happen by video.

How is travel arranged?
We discuss travel in our introductory call, so you know exactly what to expect beforehand.
Do you also accompany births in hospitals outside Düsseldorf?
Yes. I accompany you wherever you feel safe. In hospital, at the birth centre or at home.
Are you a midwife?
No. I am a doula. My support is human, not medical. I do not replace a midwife, I am there for you in addition.
How early should I get in touch?
As early as possible. Because I never take on two on-call periods at once, each time slot can only be booked once.
